Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ
Are you in-network with my insurance?
We are in-network and accept almost all health insurances including Medicare, Montana Medicaid, VA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Pacificsource, and Worker's Compensation to name a few. We confirm our in-network status and verify your benefits with your insurance before your first visit to avoid unwelcome suprise bills. For co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and patients without insurance we accept cash, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
Do I need a doctor's referral for physical therapy?
No, but... Montana is a direct access state meaning you do not need to see a doctor before you see a physical therapist. However, some insurance plans require a doctor's referral before they will cover your treatment. Give us a call at 406.961.3841 and our staff will be happy to let you know if your insurance requires a doctor's referral before you see your physical therapist.
How long is each physical therapy treatment?
Typically about 45 minutes to an hour. The initial appointment can sometimes take a bit longer as your physical therapist works with you to evaluate and set goals for your recovery (and unfortunately there is some paperwork). We value your time and always try to ensure you start at your scheduled appointment time.
How many visits will I need?
As part of your first appointment you and your physical therapist will determine and agree upon a personalized plan of care which includes how many visits and always takes into account your goals for recovery.
Do you have private treatment rooms?
Yes, we have four private and comfortable rooms. We also have a large gym space and an on-site pool. The pool room includes a private changing area and a private bathroom with shower.
Will I be treated in a group?
No. Your therapist will focus on what you need for your recovery.
